Our network is steadily growing. We now have 25 member profiles posted up on the website and more on the way. We are bowled over by the generosity of everyone who has been in touch with us! The variety of projects and approaches is truly fascinating – see here – and the willingness to share work through the network clearly highlights a desire to connect and learn from each other.
Over the course of the network project we will be holding three events and we wish we could invite everyone to all of them. However, our funding is limited. We hope to include a cross-section of network members at each event whilst balancing a range of experiences from across the spread of diverse participatory textile-making activities. It’s a shame that can’t be all of you, but there will be other ways you can get involved.
Meanwhile, the website will continue to grow, providing us all with a platform to share our work and make connections to generate discussion and opportunities. To this end, we would like to open up our blog and invite guest blog posts. If you are interested in writing a short contribution to our blog, please get in touch via stitchingtogether@aub.ac.uk.
